The Different Methods For Bear Hunting
66
Bears are the ferociously looking animals that are well known for their dominant viciousness. However, just the thought of trying to hunt down a bear can be so scary that no one would ever consider it, though there are a few crazy people who partake in such an activity. Several methods are used when hunting down bears, some of which I will dutifully reveal in this article.
Use a snare. The use of snares in bear hunting has been very popular in Russia since time immemorial, plus in other cold regions of the world. When using this method a lasso-like rope is formed into a loop and the other end is tied to a tree. The best way to do so is by placing the noose in the bears common path or trail because any other location will render this device useless. So when the bear does walk in its usual path the noose will entangle its feet. Eventually the bear itself will still try to keep walking but the moment the rope becomes taut there will be nowhere for the bear to go, thus allowing the brave hunter to simply walk up to it and finish it off.
The use of bait is yet another method you can use, though banned in certain parts of the world for one reason or another. With bait you simply have to look for a huge chunk of meat, sweets or just about anything that will appear appetizing to your prey. Armed with a rifle you will have to stand at a distance-so as not to scare the animal away- and wait for a bear to approach your bait after which you can then kill it.
The bear spear is a prehistoric method used by people who feel they can maim and kill such a huge animal. You will need a spear that has a large enough head to bring down such a colossal animal, plus of course a bay leaf attached to it. In addition to the bay leaf and the spear you will also need an extra contraption that will stick right into the bears head or throat just in case it tries to break free, which in most cases can happen. And if you prefer you can readily use poison on the spear for extra effectiveness.
An outdoor adventure activity of this kind is destined to be filled with gusts of adrenalin, something worth the while if that is what you are into.
