Stihl Saw - The Right Tool for the Job

When it comes to projects, it is always best to be fitted with the right tool for the job. This leads us to having the best tools on the market available. One company that has always been on the top of the list with a fine line of equipment is the Stihl company. Many people relate the name of Stihl to chainsaws, but the company is so much more.

In the 1920s the Stihl corporation got its start in Stuttgart, Germany. The company was developed by a gentleman named Andreas Stihl. Some of the first equipment manufactured was actually washing machines. By the 1930s, Stihl brought about the first of many chainsaws and launched themselves into a market that has since expanded their horizons to many more fabulous products that we as consumers can find all over the world.

The Stihl saw comes in many different types including the stihl chain saw or stihl pole saw. For construction you can find the Cutquick cut-off machine. This tool is typically used in the construction industry for demolition purposes. On the construction side of the business, you will find drills and augers that are of greater use to the construction industry.

For those wonderful home jobs that many of us have, there are a great number of tools that help us all to maintain great looking yards. To start off with let’s take a look at the Stihl saw or better yet the chainsaw which really helped to boost Stihl into the lumbering industry. First, there are the occasional use stihl chain saws. These saws are normally used for cutting up firewood or used to break down heavy tree branches or limbs that have fallen into a yard. You may recognize some of the chain saws in this list they are MS 170, MS 211, MS 171, MS 180 C-B. This of course is only a small sample of the occasional use Stihl saw.

There are times when there is need for more than just occasional, for example in the electric company there are times when some of the men are sent out to take a look at branch levels making sure that if there are branches that may be in the way, and then remove those that are easy to get to. For jobs like this, you will find that a mid range saw is best. Some of the Stihl saws that can be found are; MS 270, MS 310, MS 391, there is even an electric chainsaw that can be used for mid range work.

Of course then you have to remember that Stihl saw is also more for the professionals and that means that you will find a professional line of Stihl chainsaws. There is the MS 260 Pro, MS 362, MS 650 and many more. Typically, these chainsaws are used for companies that are in the landscaping business and will need the professional line to remove large trees, etc. If you go to any of your local landscapers or tree trimmers, ask and many of them will tell you that they use the Stihl products.

Stihl isn't just about the Stihl saw, however. There are also trimmers, tree pruners and many other fine tools that Stihl has to offer. Plus, out of all the companies that are out there, Stihl stands behind their product, if at any time you have a problem, simply notify their customer service and they will help you along the way.
